| The Management Schools emerged as a social response
to the training needs demanded by professionals to promote, organise
and lead companies.
Society is fully aware of the role of companies as creators of
jobs, wealth and potentialities of all kinds.
Accordingly, society demands a high level of competence, professionalism
and responsibility from managers to match the values and institutions
of the society that they serve. The training of these leaders of
companies and organisations is a social task of the first order.
It was this commitment to provide a corporate response to the quality
and service demanded in the training of managers that led to the
founding of AEEDE (Asociación Española
de Escuelas de Dirección de Empresas, Spanish Association
of Business Management Schools) in November 1989 by some
of the most well-established Management Schools with the longest
tradition in Spain.
